Welcome to website of the Bilingualism Interest Group (BIG).  BIG was created in 2011 by Faculty members at Concordia University. We meet monthly to share our research and to discuss issues in bilingualism and bilingualism research. We are interested in diverse research questions, including the roots of bilingualism in infants and children, fluency, links between language and music, bilingualism and ageing, and the cognitive correlates of bilingualism.  We use a variety of methods including eye tracking, event related potentials, and adult psycholinguistic approaches. We welcome new members who share similar interests.
